Non-asceptic, Ultra clean and Asceptic

The main distinction is the hygienic level applied during the production process and filling procedure, which warrant the final shelf life of the product. For cup, glass & PET filling machines conditions as non-aseptic & ultra clean are most commonly applied for filling fresh milk, yoghurt and dessert type of produce as these have the tendency of being produced with a limited shelf-life expectancy. When aiming to achieve long shelf-life produce such as ESL and UHT, the highest hygienic standards will have to be applied, which requires the use of aseptic enabled filling machines.
